Sorry for the blurry photo—it reads: “PISCES (Feb. 20-March 20) – The downside of having a vivid imagination is that ideas may take the place of action. You know what you want out of life, so go out and get it. It’s time to follow through.”
This was my horoscope in the local paper yesterday, which I just happened to glance at in the break room at work. And even though horoscopes are written to be generic, and most of the time it never applies to me, this exact quote seemed to be written directly to me across the universe.
I had been inundated with various ideas that day, all threatening to impose themselves over my current project. I know that it’s just fear, the last few panicked doubts rising up to stop me from progressing to the outlining and drafting stage, but just the presence of those doubts has made me sluggish and uncertain—waiting for the fall.
And then here comes this horoscope, urging me to get to work. A perfect little moment of fate, a wink from God, a shoddy coincidence—whatever your belief system, I think it’s important to bask in the small instances of wonder that make life worth living.
It makes me feel like there’s more than just me wanting this. Having an ally like the universe might make all the difference. 🙂
You go girl!!!!!!!!!!!! Love ya! Mom
Thanks for your comment!! 😀 ❤
